Mount Sindoro Hiking Tour – 2 Days 1 Night Camping

On the first day, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Yogyakarta and driven to the Kledung basecamp, where you’ll begin your hike. After a scenic 4–5 hour trek, you’ll arrive at the campsite, perfectly timed to witness a breathtaking sunset. Enjoy a warm dinner and spend the night in a tent surrounded by peaceful mountain nature. 

On day two, rise early for a pre-dawn summit hike. Reach the top just in time to catch the sunrise over Mount Sumbing and explore Sindoro’s impressive twin craters. Day 1: Yogyakarta – Mount Sindoro Camping 

• 09:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta and drive to Mount Sindoro (Kledung area) 

• 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM | Short break for lunch and hiking preparation 

• 01:00 PM – 05:00 PM | Begin the hike to the Mount Sindoro campsite via the Kledung Route 

• 05:00 PM – 08:00 PM | Enjoy the sunset and have dinner at the campsite 

• 08:00 PM – 03:00 AM | Overnight camping experience under a sky full of stars 

Day 2: Mount Sindoro Summit – Yogyakarta 

• 03:00 AM – 03:30 AM | Wake up early and enjoy a hot drink (coffee or tea) 

• 03:30 AM – 05:30 AM | Early morning hike to the summit of Mount Sindoro 

• 05:30 AM – 06:30 AM | Enjoy sunrise views overlooking Mount Sumbing 

• 06:30 AM – 08:00 AM | Explore the summit area, including the massive twin craters 

• 08:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Return to the campsite and have breakfast 

• 10:00 AM – 01:00 PM | Descend to the basecamp in Kledung Village 

• 01:00 PM – 03:30 PM | Drive back to Yogyakarta and transfer to your hotel
