From Malang/Surabaya: Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater 2-Day Tour

Embark on a 2-day tour from Malang or Surabaya to Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater. Catch

the sunrise at Mount Bromo, explore the Bromo caldera, and visit the Hindu temple. Then,

rest before embarking on an overnight journey to Ijen Crater.

Start with a midnight departure to catch the sunrise at Mount Bromo. Enjoy a thrilling jeep

ride to the viewpoint, witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the volcanic landscape.

Explore the Bromo caldera, visit the Hindu temple, and marvel at the Sea of Sand.

Afterward, rest before embarking on an overnight journey to Ijen Crater. Arrive at Ijen, trek

to the crater's edge to witness the mesmerizing blue flames (if conditions permit) and the

stunning sunrise. Explore the sulfur mining activities and the turquoise lake within the

crater.

DAY 1

- At 00.15 AM pick up from hotel/accommodation in Malang or Surabaya city then drive to

Cemoro Lawang village Probolinggo city ( approx 3 hours driving )

- Took jeep 4x4 wheels and enjoy the sunrise in bromo mountain.

- Climb caldera of mount bromo.

- Back to jeep, breakfast and meet your driver to continue your journey.

- Heading to bondowoso city ( approx 4-5 hours driving ).

- At 02.00 or 03.00 PM leisure time at hotel for prepare and wake up on mid night.

DAY 2

- At 00.15 AM take all of your luggage / bag start from hotel then drive to

Paltuding ( approx 2 hours driving )

- At 02.00 AM hike mount ijen see the blue flame and panorama ijen crater

- At 06.30 AM breakfast and drive to drop off point (Ketapang port)

-Take a ferry from java to Bali (1hour)

-end of service

What to bring:

Note:

• The tour starts with a midnight departure to ensure arrival at Mount Bromo for

sunrise.

• Every first friday of month Mount ijen closed.

• A moderate level of fitness is required for the treks at both Mount Bromo and Ijen

Crater.

• Temperatures can be low, especially in the early morning, so warm clothing is

recommended around 11-15 Celcius.

• The viewing of the blue flames at Ijen Crater is subject to weather and volcanic

activity conditions ( not guaranteed )

• Participants should be prepared for a significant amount of driving between

locations.
