From Bali : Ijen Vulcano Hike with Transfer Service and All fee
Hiking Ijen Vulcano Blue Flames the mesmerizing turquoise lake
Your journey begins with a nighttime pickup from your accommodation in Bali. From there, travel to Ijen Volcano, located in Banyuwangi, East Java. The drive covers approximately 180 kilometers (assuming you're departing from southern Bali; the distance may be shorter if you're staying near Gilimanuk).
You'll first be driven to Gilimanuk Port, where you'll take a ferry across the Bali Strait to Ketapang Port in Banyuwangi. Upon arrival at Ketapang, a local driver will be waiting to take you to the base of Ijen Volcano.
Once you reach the Ijen basecamp, begin your 1.5-hour trek to the crater viewpoint. At the top, enjoy the incredible panoramic views and, if weather conditions allow, witness the mesmerizing blue fire—an extraordinary natural phenomenon. As dawn breaks, watch the sunrise over the largest acidic crater lake on Java and see local sulfur miners at work.
After exploring the crater, descend the trail and return to the parking area. Then, relax on the journey back to Bali, with an estimated arrival at your hotel around 4:30 PM.
